Resolution Award of Construction Contract for Mt Eden Park Renovation
Project Description
This project provides for the renovation of the existing Mt. Eden Park in Hayward. These include: Upgrades to sports field and court lighting, concrete and asphalt pavement repairs, new pickleball court and tennis court resurfacing, and pathway enhancements. A new walking loop is being added to the front of the park between Hesperian Avenue and the Mt. Eden mansion. A new Fitness Court is being installed at the Mt. Edean Park. A second Fitness Court will also be installed at Birchfield Park, located at Santa Clara and Winton Ave. as part of this Project.
New play equipment has already been installed at the playground in 2025.
Construction on the park improvements is underway and will be completed in the fall of 2026.
