Project Description
This project provides for three new free-to-the public outdoor fitness courts to be located at:
- Eden Greenway, across from Southgate Community Center
- Tennyson Park
- Alden E. Oliver Sports Park
The project is partially funded by a grant from the National Fitness Campaign as part of the 2019 Healthy Cities Campaign. Each Fitness Court is a comprehensive circuit training system that supports 28 simultaneous users on 30 separate pieces of equipment. The Fitness Court provides 7-minute modules for adults of every age and fitness level.
