The project renovated six group picnic facilities at Castro Valley Community Park and four at Weekes Community Park in Hayward. Upgrades to the picnic areas consist of new paving, signage, trees, waste receptacles, picnic tables, benches, and BBQ grills. Construction was completed in the fall of 2021.
