Sorensdale Park and Recreation Center serves community members of all ages and abilities, including individuals with special needs.
Recent exterior improvements include repaving of the parking lot and adjacent concrete walkways, along with associated grading and drainage enhancements. New site amenities such as picnic furnishings, barbecues, and drinking fountains have also been installed.
Visitors who use the open spaces and baseball fields will benefit from improved access pathways and upgraded gates. Additionally, new trees have been planted in the parking areas, complementing the park’s iconic ash, alder, and elm trees.
