Project Description
Southgate Park is a central hub for the community providing access to the nearby school and community center, baseball, basketball, and pickleball courts, picnic areas and a playground. Exterior enhancements to the Park include grading and improvements to drainage, installation of new site picnic furnishings, barbecues and drinking fountains. Users who enjoy the walking pathways will appreciate fresh paving and uniform surfaces.
New Playground equipment has been installed in an enlarged play area. Two picnic areas serve the playground and the pickleball/basketball courts.
Park improvements are designed to enhance these programs with picnic areas and walkways aligned to provide safe areas to exercise, gather, and enjoy the nature in the Park.
