Project Description
This project involves refurbishment the Hayward Plunge aquatic center. To determine the scope of work necessary, tasks included assessing the facility’s condition, conducting a structural review, addressing historical issues, and conducting an environmental assessment.
Design and construction address improvements to parking lot ADA access, structural repairs, concrete waterproofing, pool tiling and re-plastering, diving board and swim lane revisions. Pool equipment maintenance, electrical repairs, water pipe replacement and interior painting are also included in the refurbishment of the facility.
Construction on the Project will conclude in October, 2026.
