Project Description
The Alameda County Agricultural History Center project at Meek Estate Park involves the restoration of an historic orchard and the creation of an agricultural demonstration area. New interpretive signs will guide park visitors along a self-guided tour of these historic features and the Carriage House.
The project is funded with an American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) grant, County Park Facility Fees, and the Measure F1 Bond.
A construction contract was awarded in March 2025. Construction began on April 14, 2025, and will be completed by June 30, 2025.
