Project Description
This project provides for the replacement of the synthetic turf at two soccer fields at Oliver Sports Parks. The project also includes a new 20′ tall netting fence along the canal, adjacent picnic area upgrades and the conversion of the existing sports field, parking and pathway lights to energy-saving LED light fixtures through a PG&E program that provides rebates and an interest free loan repaid with energy cost savings.
Construction started in November 2018 and was completed in April 2019. A ribbon-cutting event was held at the site on April 27, 2019.
