Project Description

This project provides for the renovation of an existing 8,236 S.F. community center and its immediate surroundings.  Initial efforts include a Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) and a renovation master plan.  With establishment of a design direction in the master plan, construction documents will be developed and continue into the construction phase. The FCA is complete and the renovation master plan design process in ongoing.

Architects from Dahlin Group had two initial tasks: clarify the building program and develop three initial concept schemes. After considering the cost-benefit associated with the three options, a final design direction is was clarified by HARD Board at the Feb 3, 2020. This design approach will be the basis for creating a bidding package for the center’s renovation.

Bidding is projected for early 2021 with construction completing in middle 2022.
