Project Description
This project involves the renovation of an existing 8,236-square-foot community center and the surrounding site improvements. Initial efforts included completion of a Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) and preparation of a renovation master plan. With a design direction established through the master planning process, construction documents will be prepared to advance the project into the construction phase. The FCA is complete, and the renovation master plan process is ongoing.
Architects from Dahlin Group were first tasked with clarifying the building program and developing three preliminary design concepts. After evaluating the cost-benefit considerations of each option, the HARD Board confirmed a final design direction on February 3, 2020. This approved approach will serve as the basis for preparing the bidding documents for the community center renovation.
Construction is anticipated to be complete in early 2026.
