Project Description
The project provides for the renovation of a 2-acre portion of the neighborhood park area closest to East Avenue including the replacement of the restroom building and renovations to the basketball court, play area, picnic facilities, parking lot, ADA walkways, and planting and irrigation upgrades for water conservation.
A community meeting was held in the park in September 2018 to gather feedback on the preferred improvements. The final concept plan incorporates the community’s preferences on the parking/drop-off area, restroom location and exterior finishes, basketball court configuration, playground equipment, and site furnishings.
Construction was completed in 2020.
