Project Description
This project provides for the renovation of a 1-acre park in San Lorenzo. A community meeting was held at the park on Saturday, June 2, 2018. The preferred plan was developed with community input presented to the Board on June 25, 2018.
The park improvements include replacing the play equipment, new site furnishings, shade structure, drinking fountain, fencing, signage, paving upgrades, and planting and irrigation modifications. Funding is provided by a Housing-Related Parks Program grant and Community Development Block grant through Alameda County and Measure F1 Bond funds.
Construction of the park improvements was completed in early 2020.
