Project Description
This project provides for the design and construction of renovations to an existing 10-acre park. Mia’s Dream Come True all-abilities playground, an independent project within Tennyson Park, is open to the public.
The Tennyson Park Renovation master plan was developed with input from the community in the spring of 2019 and was approved by the Board of Directors on July 15. The master plan includes renovation to the existing sports field and skate park, basketball courts, walking paths, pump track, picnic areas, and parking, and incorporates an existing outdoor fitness court.
Construction began in June 2024 with completion expected in mid-2025.
